THE LONELY GOD INSIDE YOU

Originally published January 2018 as a companion piece to the EP my band, Die Young, released at the same time titled The God for Which We Suffer.

The Lonely God Inside You was an unintentional production of poetry. You know, sometimes raw, cathartic writing comes out of you, and what else do you call it but poetry? Plus, I felt it was important to exhibit that I think about more than just veganism and weightlifting. I have a lot of fictional and emotive writing coming down the pike, so this can be considered an introduction to other sides of my creativity altogether.

This collection explores themes of loss, isolation, selfishness, and the darker impulses born of humankind's salvation–love itself. 

I always tell people this book is a bunch of stuff you'd probably prefer to not know about me. So here ya go, have at it.
